Larry Scott Auerbach, Esquire

Board-Certified Elder Law, Estate Planning And Probate Lawyer

I am Larry Scott Auerbach. In addition to being a Board-Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA), I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a Personal Finance Specialist (PFS) designation. I help people 18 through 100 years old create or update their estate plans with wills, trusts, powers of attorneys and other documents to protect their assets and choices. I am also here for you when you need legal help after the death of a loved one.

A Life Cyclist: Wills, Trusts, Probate

Drawing from an extensive legal background with Wills, Trusts and Estate Administration, I help my clients protect their assets and determine how they want to distribute their assets when they die.

I have been enjoying the process of helping my clients make wise choices with regard to their trusted agents, end-of-life medical treatment, and in creating a plan for distributing their assets for many years. I will take the time to listen to your story and learn what your core values are so that your legal documents will accurately reflect your wishes. I can help you tailor your estate plan to your circumstances.

If your family is dealing with the death of a loved one, I can help you navigate through estate administration and probate whether or not your loved one had a will or a trust.

Medicaid Planning Is Not Just For Those In Their Golden Years

Many families these days are living in multigenerational homes. Younger people are caring for their own children as well as their parents, who are in their golden years, under one roof. Consequently, busy lifestyles often result in zero conversations about Medicaid planning, asset protection and the assistance of long-term health care facilities.

For older Americans, qualifying for Medicaid can lift a substantial financial burden if you need nursing home care later in life. But when you own assets  you may not qualify for Medicaid; or worse, you could unnecessarily have to use these assets to pay for nursing home care.

Do not fear and do not leave conversations about Medicaid and asset protection by the wayside. If you plan in advance, you do not have to incur the possibility of unnecessarily losing your home during your lifetime to pay for nursing home care services. With proper planning, it may be possible to qualify for Medicaid to pay for your long tern nursing home care. I can help you develop an estate plan to address your long-term care needs.

When You Have The Option, Choose Wisely
